Vikings go 3-0
How about those Vikings! The Minnesota Vikings got a big victory today over San Fransisco and another big day for newly acquired quarterback Brett Favre.
When the Vikings picked up Favre during the off season, I was a bit weary on signing such an aged veteran, but so far he has been fantastic for the purple people eaters. Today Favre had a great day, going 24 for 46 passing and 301 total yards.
It was looking a bit close at the end, but Favre had a nice game ending drive to score with only a couple seconds left and lift the Vikings to a 3 and 0 record. A great start, let’s hope they keep it up!

In other NFL news, Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick made his first regular season appearance since he was forced out of the game for his role in a dog fighting ring. He didn’t do too much, only about 11 plays, and went 0-2 but did pick up 7 yards rushing. I hate what he did in the past , but I think he paid his dues and good to see my fellow Hokie on the field again.
